Well this weekend was a wet one but that did not stop me and Marcj from heading out to do some detecting, Friday night was a solo hunt for myself at a local sports field that we have been hitting hard for the last year, we can usually squeeze out 1 or 2 good finds from this location, last couple times we got some great old copper tokens, this night was a little different, no old tokens were found but I did manage to find a nice silver chain and a silver pendant, and my favourite find an old aluminum thimble with "clements electric vacuum cleaners" written on it. Any idea on a date?
Saturday was a day of Pennies,, it's all I found, Sunday was shaping up to be the same as Saturday until I got a sweet 12-46-47 signal, dug....And dug... Man the thing was at least 12" down, it was an 1850 Upper Canada One Penny Token, my second one from this site, the other being a 54.
