Went out this weekend for a water hunt. water was cold but with the right equipment you can stay toasty warm,
this location is only accessible in the fall when the water level in the river drops significantly, when that happens all the goodies get exposed,,, most laying right on the surface. this place is littered with items from a time gone by, red brick bits litters the river bottom and every scoop is filled with shards of 100 year old bottles,
I collected quite the assortment of items from this location in only 2 days of hunting, hard to believe that Saturday I was hunting in a t-shirt and waders in the middle of November it was an absolute gorgeous day.

1800's clay penny Inkwell bromo-seltzer bottle (not very old) Nippon porcelain doll body and head(1920's-30's) A Small little bottle with a baby drinking on it (help identifying please) a marble from over 60 years ago found in the water that is still mint.
now for the metallic finds
I managed to get a 1883 indian head in horrible condition a 1909 Large Cent a nice old flat button with some writing on it ( vintage Avon lipstick Sample with lipstick still in it a large token that is worn smooth and I can't make it out I got this little button not sure whats its from but it says PAT jan 16 83 & feb 11 73 and last but not least a large old copper ring
