Hi all,
Matt might recognize my user name from the Ottawa Digs board. I thought I'd join this one as well since I do get down to the Cornwall area fairly often. I've been detecting since June this year...started out by getting my son a Bounty Hunter JR and ended up using it quite a bit at campsites and the cottage. Founds lots of nails, beer caps and rusty old junk and became excellent at digging rabbit holes (my backyard has been a great practicing ground). Eventually I picked up a Teknetics Eurotek Pro and Pro Pointer and having been detecting pretty much whenever I can. Found about $5 in various coins so far and a few miscellaneous items. Nothing spectacular yet.
