It has Come to our attention that the St-Lawrence Parks Commission has put a Ban on Metal Detecting in their parks, that includes Long sault Parkway, Farrans, Bird Sanctuary, Mille Roche Beach, Glengarry Park, Charlottenburg Park.
it is not clearly marked in their rules and regulations but we have gotten word from high ranking officials within the park system.
this is very unfortunate as it is most of the beaches in our area.
Please respect this policy and remember you are an ambassador for all of us when your out detecting.
