I got out for couple hours of detecting today on my brother's old property. The keepers have been few and far between. I managed to find myself a British general service military button today. Its a large one 24mm diameter so probably was used on a Greatcoat or Officers Service Dress jacket. I believe they were issued from 1902 until WWII. I was pretty happy to see it in the hole. It's my first military button.
