Hello all, Just got into this in early December by buying myself an Ace 250 and AT pin-pointer for my birthday. The ground is frozen around here now but had to try out my machine right away. As soon as I turned it on outside it came up with a solid silver signal 8 inches down and 10 feet in front of my neighbours front door (1830's original farm house). Will have to wait till spring to dig it up. Cannot wait. Flew out to Victoria soon after for Christmas to visit my son. We had a blast playing with the machine (discovered it does not do salt water) and digging on the beaches. So far a toy car, 74 cents, a 1810-1833 era flat button, and 8 pounds of iron junk (not including the massive 10+ feet of boat anchor chain). Totally hooked. Does anyone in the Cornwall area do metal detecting in 20-30 feet of water near Nav Can? There is a guy looking to find his lost chain that has contacted me? I can forward his info. Looking forward to meeting you all this summer. Love your posts on FB.

Hi, nice to meet you! I was just looking for some waterproof metal detectors. Is there any suggestion? As for me, I have a dream: travel around the wold and discover the miracles of the nature. I like explore the nature with my metal detector machine. I want to find like-minded friends here and learn some knowledge.

Hello Matt, Are there any get togethers during the winter months? I live in L'Orignal and would drive down if there was an evening dinner event. BugeyeGuy
