My partner lost her diamond off her necklace at a party in a feild at the weekend it was mounted in a precious metal probably silver. We know the area of about 20 sqm but couldn't find it at the time. It's not a lot of metal but I need to know could that be found by metal detector. It's a 1/4 carat diamond. Can I lit be found by an amature or do I require a pro with good gear?
