Back To back Posts this morning. Last night i did the last minute decision to head back the the field right after work, my wife was going o her parents and i had a 2 hour windows to head out. I tried a different section of the field this time, ITS IRON INFESTED!! but the CTX picked it apart nicely, all these finds were found in a 30x 30 foot section,
First up was this USA Civil War Campaign Token for Ulysses S. Grant, 18th President of the United States! anymore info on this would be great, not sure how many were minted but i'm willing to bet not many are buried in Canada.
Next up was this Sweet Military Button, Its Canada British Militia 2pc Button, i am reluctant to clean it any further.
This Next item is interesting, It seems to be Silver and ornate but its only a small piece of what it used to be,,,can anyone shed some light o this? maybe trade silver? the site is definitely old enough,
I also managed to pull out a 2 Ring Bullet and a religious medallion and another ornate small button,
it was an amazing 1h30 hunt!! can't wait to return!!
