Hi all!
Well here are my finds for my last day of holiday detecting for me, it was actually a great day,
me and marcj headed out to a very promising location, we got there and things started off a little slow, but slowly we started to find some goodies, i concentrated my efforts along a fence line between 2 big maple trees, the area was about 10 x 25 or so, there was signal after signal, 40's pennies, 50's pennies, 60's pennies, then came out some 30's, then i get a signal not quite like all the pennies, (all the other ctx users out there let me know if you have the same experience) a little bit softer :?: , and there it was lying about 6" in the hole my first LC of the day :hd: , its funny because on our way out to the location i told marc that all i wanted to finish my holidays was an LC and did not care how old it was and that i would even love a 1920 :: ,,,,, lol well that what i dug up a 1920, not 15 min later out pops another lc with the same soft tone, this time 1919 lol by this time i have finished my grid of between the 2 trees and walked around to the other side, i get a nice little signal and out pops a 1919 dime, all i am missing now is a 1919 nickel to complete my set all dug up except the nice 50cent piece i won last month. the icing on the cake was the 1940 dime and the 3 little religious medallions and the old lipstick tube that still smells like perfume inside.
thanks for looking and happy hunting to all
